Center Manager
The Center Manager runs the day-to-day operations of this retail location.
He or she may be required to open and close the center, manage productivity and ensure the center’s team delivers world-class customer service to all customers, monitor cost control and expenses, and contribute to weekly and monthly reports developed by the Center Manager and provided to the franchise owner.
The Center Manager is involved with profit/loss, continuous improvement, service delivery levels, personnel management, and business development.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (college coursework or a degree preferred), one year of retail store operations experience, strong supervisory/managerial/leadership skills, excellent computer/internet/software knowledge, the physical ability to perform this job (lifting, bending, etc.
), and knows how to listen, follow, lead, and help attain defined targets.
He or she must have a dynamic personality and must be able to help motivate a team to optimize performance.
Duties:
- Oversee daily operations of the center, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Manage inventory and stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase market share.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized center environment.
- Train and supervise staff members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and record keeping.
- Utilize strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Helps oversee Center maintenance, including cleanliness, safety, and organization.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Needs to be able to work flexible hours
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in basic math for inventory management and financial calculations.
- Ability to handle phone calls with professionalism and proper etiquette.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and foster a positive work environment.
- Knowledge of marketing principles to promote the center's products or services.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
* High school diploma or GED required
* Advanced education degree, coursework, or tech school desired
* One year of supervisory experience in logistics, retail, or other relevant industry
* Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
* Outstanding phone skills
* Strong customer service skills and abilities
* Able to lift up to 50lbs
