Our managers are responsible for recruiting, on-boarding, training, management and retention of Outside Sales Agents.
Successful Territory Managers are adept at managing & motivating their team of commission only sales agents to meet company sales objectives.
The Territory Manager must have good working knowledge of their assigned territory and be able to assist sales agents in the field with meeting their daily objectives.
The Territory Manager must be able to work independently and with the Territory Manager on achieving district & company wide monthly objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
* Create an environment of accountability by managing daily team attendance and participation.
* Hire and recruit quality personnel who exceed the accepted minimum standards set forth by the company.
* Conduct comprehensive new hire orientation and training to ensure Outside Sales Agents comply with regulatory requirements and lifeline rules.
* Supervise and manage Outside Sales Agents to achieve territory performance goals.
* Ongoing development of a high performing, motivated sales staff
* Maintain and protect company assets, including physical inventory.
* Meet inventory shrink goals.
* Develop growth opportunity recommendations through market research, scouting and competitive analysis.
* Coach and develop Outside Sales Agents to improve effectiveness, proficiency and productivity.
* Perform routine market and location performance evaluations through report analysis and on-site evaluations.
* Conduct comprehensive review of all local codes, permits and licensing needed to follow state and local laws, and obtain them to ensure the team of OSA’s are able to produce market goals.
* Any other related duties as assigned by Territory Manager
