*POSITION SUMMARY*
The Administrative & Outreach Assistant provides support to the APP Director and performs outreach duties to promote APP & Child Care services.
Contributes to Davis Street’s mission by ensuring APP Director is supported in overseeing effective APP child care services to children and families.
*RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Provides administrative support to the APP Director and department staff as assigned
* Prepare communications and perform outreach and marketing task to promote program services
* Assist Director by serving as a contact for local, state, and federal partners
* Develop correspondence, materials, presentations, and department best practices and procedures
* Manage Director’s appointments and calendar, coordinates department meetings and events
* Assists with research and data collection, create reports, graphs and tables
* Provides a high-level of customer service to staff, clients, and external partners
* Assist with special projects such as events, trainings, and conferences, program reviews and audits
* Coordinate and attends meetings, transcribe and distribute department minutes and agendas
* Monthly support to submit department reports for Board/Committee Meetings as needed
* Designs systems to help the APP team organize and track details and project progress
* Maintains supplies and a clean and professional office environment
* Other tasks as needed to assist the overall programs
*REQUIREMENTS*
* Associate degree or certificate in Human Services, Early Childhood Education and/or related field desired
* 2 years related experience
* Excellent administrative, project management and mathematical skills
* Strong office equipment and computer skills using MS Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook
* Must be detail orientated, organized and excellent time management skills
* Ability to prioritize workload, and work under strict deadlines
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to maintain positive client and working relationships
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of department, children, families and staff information and materials
* Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.
00 - $26.
00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
