65 starting pay, $26.

Position Summary:
The Blender/Batcher mixes and blends raw materials per product specification.
This position maintains accurate inventory, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting of Clean in Place (CIP) and the blending system.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Interpret the production schedule, daily concentrate inventory, and other documents, to prepare for incoming ingredients and production of blends
Provide samples of product to Quality Assurance (QA) for analysis as needed in a timely manner
Conduct efficient pass downs and communication to team members and management
Ensure the setup, operation, and cleanliness of the chipper, pumps, lines, hoses, tanks, etc.
Inspect equipment and area for food safety and personal safety issues before starting and throughout shift
Ensure record keeping, documentation, SOPs are followed, and data is entered into tracking system
Evaluate opportunities for improvement of processes
Transfer product from barrels and totes to salts tanks as needed
Perform ingredient inventories and First Expired First Out process
Assist maintenance team as needed
Maintain good housekeeping and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
Inspect ingredients for foreign objects to ensure quality standards are met
Remove and record all tags from each tote used
Ensure duties on Master Sanitation Schedule are completed
Complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner
Other projects or duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED and 1 plus years of machine operator mixing experience
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations to formulate blends
Ability to perform basic computer skills (screen navigation, data input, etc.
)
Must be flexible in work schedule (all shifts) and able to work overtime as needed
Ability to drive Forklift – training will be provided
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand for long periods of time and be alert at all times
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions (cleaning, batching, etc.
)
Experience working in a team environment
Ability to multi-task
Ability to communicate effectively – strong verbal and writing skills
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Vocational Certificate
Experience in Food Manufacturing facility
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Lift 50+ lbs.
