Bartender
HOURS : TWO POSITIONS AVAILABLE PLEASE SEND EMAIL WITH POSITION DESIRED
DAYSHIFT :
FRIDAY ,SATURSDAY,SUNDAY,TUESDAY 2PM-8PM
NIGHTSIFT: FRIDAY SATURDAY SUNDAY 8PM-2:30 AM
Duties:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Provide recommendations on drink selections based on customer preferences and menu offerings
- Operate cash register to process customer payments accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines when handling food and beverages
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices are followed
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a prompt and courteous manner
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a restaurant, brewing, or food industry setting is preferred
- Proficient in basic math skills, including the ability to calculate bills and make change accurately
- Excellent knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and drink mixing techniques
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using cash registers or point-of-sale systems is desirable
- Knowledge of retail math principles for inventory management is a plus
- A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service
