Who We Want:
Q’Apel Medical is recruiting interns for Summer 2024 based out of HQ office in Fremont, CA.
This internship program will provide a comprehensive learning and professional experience in the Quality space.
Intern positions are full-time opportunities expecting to last ~2.
5 months, from mid-June start to mid-August 2024.
This in-person position is available to rising Seniors in High School or Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors at an accredited college/university during the intern period.
We work in a “Onsite model”.
This means that you will be asked to report on site at our HQ in Fremont throughout the week.
If you are selected for an internship role, you will work directly with your manager as your start date approaches to confirm your exact schedule.
What You’ll Work On:
ECOs to update outdated documentation for components/discrepancies on low-risk items identified (consumable specifications)
Equipment database scrubbing
LHR, NCMR, CAPA, Equipment records scanning and Virje attachment (as applicable)
LHR Data Entry (populating the Lot Number Assignment Log post-lot release)
LHR Review support for Production and R&D (I would suggest limiting involvement to just GDP/ quantity review)
Supplier re-evaluations
Long term: gage r&r study of using a snap gauge vs vision system for wall thickness, OD, ID (TBD) for low durometer materials (Pebax 2533, 3533)

Job Qualifications:
Enrollment in an accredited college/university during the intern period - Required.
If in College, then actively pursuing at least, a bachelor’s degree in related academic major - Required.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.
g.
H1-B status) now or in the future – Required.
Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the Internship - Required.
Demonstrated leadership and/or participation in campus/community service activities is preferred.
