Keeping a cool head and maintaining a warm regard for the client is a must.

A willingness to problem-solve and negotiate respectfully with the client while setting reasonable limits to ensure safety.

(can be professional or informal/personal) 7.
You adhere to the maxim, "Kids do well when they can," and strive to make it so they "can", rather than trying to make it so they "will" without addressing structural barriers.
8.
Must be able to travel to client's home in East Oakland, or to day camp or other activity sites around the East Bay, including locations that are not BART-accessible.
9.
Must have recent CPR cert or be willing to get one 10.
Must provide references and pass a LiveScan background check These would also be a bonus: 1.
