Reporting to the Operations Manager/Transportation Manager, the Bus Driver drives and maintains the appearance of the interior of the bus.
Provides safe, reliable, and efficient transportation to our riders.
Properly fills out daily manifest.
Depending on the location, this may be accomplished electronically through an onboard tablet/computer or handwritten.

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
*Driver:*
* Checks for start time (for the next day’s work schedule) with dispatch daily.
* Performs pre/post-trip vehicle inspections as required.
* Completes assigned paperwork accurately and neatly and turns into dispatch daily.
*Safety:*
* Performs work with quality, efficiency, and safety at all times.
* Ensures passengers wear seat belts.
* Report any unsafe dangerous requests from customers to senior management.
* Responsible for ensuring he/she never backs up the bus without a spotter helping to assist in the blind areas.
*Customer Relations:*
* Maintain excellent customer service with the customers, transportation, and different teams to establish solid relationships.
* Must be punctual at all times to pick up clients.
* Must work cooperatively with members of the crew.
* Must be courteous, helpful, and professional to all existing and potential customers.
*Other duties:*
* Promote RydeTrans Mission and Vision Statements.
* Continuously promotes compliance with company policies and procedures.
*Education And/or Experience:*
* Associate, High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
* Two to three (2-3) years of experience in a transportation environment is preferred.
* CDL A Or CDL B License (preferred).
* Valid California Class C driver’s license (Required).
* Valid driving record that meets the company’s insurance carrier’s requirements.
* Minimum age of 21 to qualify for company vehicle insurance.
* Demonstration of experience providing leadership or guidance to other employees in a labor-oriented environment is preferred.
