We are contracted with FedEx Ground to deliver their packages and are looking for high energy drivers with at least one year of commercial driving experience to join our team.
You must be reliable, honest, have a strong work ethic, a teamwork mentality, and a continuous drive to succeed.
Trucks are loaded at the station in Newark by FedEx package handlers.
Our drivers are responsible for driving the routes in our trucks from the station, delivering their packages safely and efficiently, and returning the truck back to the station.
Work schedule:
Saturdays and Sundays.
Start time is flexible but is usually around 7-8am and typically done by 3-5pm.
Pay is dependent on experience, skillset, and number of stops you're capable of doing.
We pay every Friday for the previous week

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: You must meet all of the following requirement in order to apply for
this position.

1.
VERIFIABLE driving experience in a stepvan or larger truck for 1 year out of the last 3 years,
or 5 out of the last 10 years.
You need not to have driven all day, but driving must have been part
of your job duties.
2.
Valid driver's license, any class.
CDL not required.
3.
Legal status to work in the USA, we are required to use E-Verify.
4.
Clean driving record.
That means no DUI, texting, reckless driving tickets in the past 3 years.
Minor traffic tickets and accidents are ok.
5.
Clean criminal record.
No major misdemeanors or felonies in the past 10 years.
6.
Able to pass the DOT physical including drug testing.
7.
Must be able to lift/maneuver heavy boxes, sometimes up to 150lbs, with the help of a hand truck.
8.
Must be able to climb in and out of the truck repeatedly for the duration of the shift.
