JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Hazmat Class “A” CDL Driver with doubles, and tanker endorsements to load, deliver, unload and pickup product and supplies from various local customers.
Must be a dependable, responsible person with a positive attitude that is concerned with customer satisfaction.
Must have current endorsements and adhere to all DOT regulations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Be able to perform pre and post trip inspections of vehicles, trailers and equipment
* Safe and timely pick up and drop off of product and supplies
* Must check all paperwork for accuracy
* Must be able to communicate with dispatch for delivery and pickup coordination
* Must be able to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods of time
* Must be able to pass background check, hold a TWIC card, and pass a drug screen
* Strong time management and customer service skills
* Must be detail oriented and well organized
* Effective and professional communication skills
* Dependable and punctual
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
* High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent job description
* Clean driving record
* Valid driver’s license with current Class A, Hazmat, Doubles,Tanker endorsements
* 1-2 years experience as Hazmat driver
