Our goal is to for Bricks 4 Kidz to be a leader in after-school classes and summer camps in the Lamorinda area and we are looking for the perfect Program Coordinator.

Bricks 4 Kidz uses the world's most popular toy, Lego, to teach kids!! In addition, we run science, coding and art classes and camps.

Education Program Coordinator Benefits:

Education Program Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Coordinate teacher schedules, supplies
- Train and support teachers
- Manage day to day operations of business
- Teach 3-5 classes/week
Education Program Coordinator Requirements:
- have experience and enjoy working with children ages 5-11
- be available in the afternoons from 2-4:30 pm
- have reliable transportation (a CAR!! Uber, etc does not work for this position)
- be on time and have an excellent work ethic
- have great organization skills
- enjoy math and science concepts
- pass a background check
- be able to lift 40 lbs
Education Program Coordinator Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in education either as a teacher or admin
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation
We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
We are looking for a special person who can teach 4-5 after-school STEM classes a week, while managing other teachers as well as helping to running the day to day operations (scheduling, marketing, social media, etc) of a successful, well established business.
Classes are in Contra Costa county (Lamorinda and Walnut Creek).
Teaching would take up 10-15 hrs week in the afternoons and the remaining hours are flexible (hours can be split between home and office).
During summer months, we run camps in the Lamorinda and Walnut Creek areas.
Summer schedule is more set so less flexibility.
Must be high energy and have experience with elementary age children.
Looking for a long-term situation.
