We are currently interviewing for after school teachers and aides in the Fremont area.
Adventure Time is a high quality before and after school childcare/enrichment program for children of both working and non-working parents.
We provide activities for children in the areas of creative arts and physical education.
Areas of emphasis are: arts and crafts, sports and games, music, dance, movement, drama, language arts, and recreation.
Children range in age from 5-12 years.
Adventure Time stresses creative and social development.
One of our primary goals is to develop the positive expression of cooperative feelings in a group situation among the children while providing a warm, nurturing, safe environment.
General Responsibilities:
--Curriculum development (project planning)
--Teaching arts, crafts, sports, games, music, dance, drama, and other creative arts
--Supervision of children both indoors and outdoors
--Maintaining up-to-date attendance records
--Maintaining a positive attitude towards and relationship with co-teachers, parents, children,
and supervisors
--Maintaining a clean and safe classroom
Qualifications for Teachers:
-- A minimum of twelve semester units of educational background in child development, psychology, education, early childhood education, or related areas
--Experience with young children
--Nurturing personality
--Reliable
--References required
--Proof of immunizations
--Mandatory child abuse training
--*Must be at least 18 years old*
--Must have a minimum of 6 months teaching experience
