Early Childhood / Preschool Teacher

We are looking for experienced Early Childhood educators to join our school.
We are a Reggio inspired school serving infants through preschoolers with great spaces for encouraging lots of experiences and nature inspired learning.
The ideal candidate has a great love and patience for children at all developmental stages and is inspired by empowering children and co-teachers through engaging experiences.
Qualifications needed to teach them effectively include knowledge of best practices and preschool educational methods as well as the ability to engage and nurture children and earn their trust and attention.
The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of the child through exploring their interests.
*Responsibilities* * Participation in development of creative program for children, designed to develop children's artistic and practical capabilities * Use observational skills to build daily/weekly and monthly curriculum that deepens children's natural curiosity and interests.
* Track children’s progress and report to parents including regular documentation of class activities and projects.
* Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards *Skills* * Proven experience as an Infant/Toddler or Preschool Teacher.
Reggio inspired experience is a plus.
* Employ a variety of educational techniques to teach children * Flexibility and a sense of curiosity and wonder * Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem * Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods * Have effective communication skills, excellent writing skills and good visualization skills.
* Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable * Certification in child CPR is a plus * BS/BA in education or relevant field is a plus (MUST have at least 12 ECE units) Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.
