Math & Science Teacher for 6th-8th Grades

The responsibilities of this job include planning and teaching daily Math and Science classes for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.
The teacher will teach six, fifty-minute classes daily with one additional class period designated as a paid prep time each day.
The curriculum must consist of grade-level textbook instruction, supplemental materials, technology integration, and hands-on science lab experiments based on NGSS Science Standards and Common Core Math Standards.
The teacher should hold a bachelor's degree in math or science, have an interest in teaching middle school students and have some classroom experience working with children.
A teaching credential is preferred.
Strong technology and good communication skills are required.
Teacher will need to be comfortable communicating with parents by email, regularly entering assessments into a computerized grading system, and posting daily assignments and homework.
