The YWCA Contra Costa / Sacramento is dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education through our state-funded preschool and childcare program, serving children aged 2-4 across various classrooms.
We are currently seeking a passionate *Head Teacher *to join our team at our *Bay Point and Richmond* locations.
*Hourly Rate: *$28.

*Hours: *Full-time (8 hours per day)
*Location: *Bay Point and Richmond
*Responsibilities:*
* Develop and execute an anti-bias curriculum that fosters inclusivity and diversity
* Cultivate an engaging learning environment encompassing cognitive, physical, social-emotional, linguistic, and creative activities
* Adhere to Licensing and State Department of Education regulations and standards
* Stay abreast of educational philosophies and standards
* Ensure continuous supervision of children
* Conduct State-mandated DRDP assessments and biannual conferences
*Qualifications:*
* Minimum qualifications include 24 ECE units and 16 GE units
* *Must have a teacher permit or higher; or be able to apply for it*
* Completion of fingerprinting, DMV record check, TB test, physical examination, agility test
* Immunization record including MMR, TDAP and FLU (optional)
* CPR Certification (Required)
* Child Development Associate Certification (Required)
