K-12, International Baccalaureate school in Dublin, CA, seeks an experienced Math teacher to teach a six-week summer school math class Monday- Friday, starting June 11th through July 26th.
We are looking for an instructor to teach the 8:30 a.
m.
- 12:30 p.
m.
class and the 1:00 p.
m.
- 5:00 p.
m.
class.
This class is equivalent to a year-long/2 semester UC approved “c” course.
Specific Responsibilities: * Create lesson plans for each day * Supervise and instruct students during class time * Provide individual support to students needing additional instruction * Provide grades and written comments at the end of the course for each student Personal Attributes: * Belief in setting high expectations for themselves and students * Excellent communication and human relation skills * Positive "Can do" attitude Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required) * M.
S.
or Ph.
D in Math preferred.
* Two years of experience teaching Geometry.
* Passionate about education and teaching high school students.
* Enthusiastic person with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Salary: $7,000 per session AM and/ or PM Job Type: Part-time Pay: $7,000.
