Spring Semester, 02/05/2024 - 05/25/2024, TTH 11:40 AM to 12:55 PM.
Moraga Campus
An introduction to statistical concepts used to assist in making decisions under conditions of uncertainty.
Topics include the collection and analysis of data, probability and probability distributions, hypothesis testing, linear regression, and correlation.
A one-hour spreadsheets lab is offered once a week; the lab is required for some majors and optional for others.
Qualifications
- Ph.
D.
degree in Business Analytics or a closely related field and a recent publication record in the field, OR
- A masters degree in Business Analytics or a closely related field and five years of current, relevant professional experience.
- Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction in order to prepare for contingencies.
This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California.
Candidates must perform all course-related work within the state of California.
Salary: $6,480 and $10,308 dependent on qualifications.
The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU 1021, who have previously taught the course or DATA 040, available here.
