Location: Livermore, CA (Hybrid, need onsite 1-2 times a month)

LOOKING CANDIDATES WITHIN CLIENT'S SERVICE TERRITORY OR NEAR OFFICE LOCATION/LIVERMORE.
THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE THAT WILL NEED TO BE ON-SITE IN LIVERMORE 1-2 TIMES A MONTH.
THERE MAY ALSO BE SITE VISITS TO HYDRO POWERHOUSES AS NEEDED DURING THE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS.
PPE WILL BE PROVIDED BY CLIENT.

Job Description:
Partner with cross-functional teams to conceptualize training design and content.
Define learning objectives, course structure, learning content and assessments.
Complete detailed analysis of each task to be trained/supported for target audience, business process, and systems.
Follow company standards, guidelines, and templates to develop learning materials including student and facilitator presentations and guides, activities, scenarios, and assessments.
Create instructional graphics, scenarios, or interactions.
Write clear and effective instruction and facilitator text appropriate for the target audience.
Conduct meetings with subject matter experts including task analysis, alpha, beta, and answer validation meetings.
Engage with subject matter experts for ongoing content review and validation.
Receive and incorporate feedback.
Self-manage assigned tasks and deadlines to complete deliverables.
Proactively communicate issues and risks.
Skills:
3+ years’ experience developing instructor-led, eLearning, or virtual training.
Experience developing training for utility industry.
Experience with technical writing.
Experience developing hands on skills training in a technical environment.
Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies.
Very strong Task Analysis knowledge and capability
Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Articulate Storyline.
Flexibility to work on simultaneous development efforts, as needed.
Knowledge of Question Mark and Author-it.
Comfortable and capable working on a High Performing Team.
Safety knowledge strongly desired.
Must be willing to work Pacific Time Zone business hours.
Available for onsite visits 5% to 10 % of time (if local to Livermore, CA).
