Last year I built a gaming PC with 3 things in mind: Upgradable to last at least the next 20 years, good performance for today, and quiet.
I can install Windows for you or your choice of Linux distribution, my personal choice is OpenSuse Tumbleweed as it is a more stable rolling release with the latest software versions.
Upgradable and to last: -With the AM5 chipset, there will be many more processors coming out in the future with compatibility with this chipset so you can access performance from many years ahead! -With the Seasonic 850w titanium power supply, it gives safe and clean power to all components making an overall lasting setup for many years in the future as the power supply is also built to last on its own.
The power supply also has a good amount of headroom with this build so you can expand in the future.
-The CPU cooler is a high performance air cooler so you don't need to worry about an aging water cooler setup that could leak in the future or any water cooling maintenance.
The CPU cooler fans and extra case fans made by Noctua are made for extreme durability to last an extremely long time.
Good performance for today: -The combo of the Ryzen 5 7600X and the RX6900XT will give great performance for pretty much any game on the market today with 12 total threads on the processor and a top of the line graphics card, it gets the job done! Quiet: -Looking for the ability to run the computer overnight for processing applications if needed the Silent Base case goes well for noise isolation with fan speed controls on the front panel so you can sleep.
The case also has noise dampening pads inside to reduce the noise coming out from the case while running.
-The large fans on the CPU cooler and extra case fans don't need to spin as fast to get the same airflow keeping the computer cool and quiet.
Here's the specs: Case: Be Quiet Silent Base 601 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X with 6 cores and 12 threads CPU cooler: Noctua NH-D15 air cooler Extra case fans: Noctua NF-A14 PWM and NF-A12x25 PWM SSD: Samsung 980 Pro with heatsink Ram: Team group T-force DDR5 32gb(2x16) 5200MHz Graphics card: XFX SWFT AMD RX6900XT Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus Elite AX AM5 B650M M-ATX Motherboard Power supply: Seasonic Prime TX-850 850 watt 80+ titanium efficiency I'm selling this because I ended up not using it much at all, it probably has about 200 hours total run time.
I need the money more for my next career and I'm fine doing what I need with my laptop and steam deck.
