EXPERIENCED AT HOME CARE/ASSISTANCE PROVIDED

Hello, I’m grace! I’ve been providing seniors with assistance for over 20 years.
I worked for 10 years in a convalescent center in the Philippines, and 10 years at a retirement home and doing in-home care (5 years each) in Singapore.
I’ve been in the United States for 6 months now doing in home care in the Los Angeles area and have just moved to the Bay Area to be closer to my fiance.
I have a lot of experience in the following areas: 1.
Dealing with patients with Alzheimers and Dementia 2.
Distributing and tracking all medications to patients 3.
Cooking and light house keeping 4.
Assistance with all ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) including assistance with personal hygiene, mobility, feeding & incontinence care I’m very honest, dependable and compassionate towards my clients.
I am fluent in English (Speaking & reading/writing) and am used to distributing medications at certain times and documenting it.
My first preference is to work in the Hollister/Gilroy/Morgan Hill area (because I could drive there and back from my Fiance's) but depending on the job and hours if you have a room available to me I would be ok with a salary position of between $3500 - $4000 depending on how many people I'm taking care of and how much work they need).
For part time and full time positions where I go to your home I charge $25 an hour.
While I’m sure I can get a job at one of the nursing homes or retirement centers I’ve always preferred a more one on one situation where I can focus more on greatly improving the lives of one or two people at a time.
I enjoy spending extra time doing activities with the people I take care of to make their life better.
A lot of times a trip to the hair salon, doing a simple puzzle or just playing a basic card game can mean a great deal to some people :).
