*Responsibilities:*
* Ensure compliance with Company standards and responsible for overseeing daily operations of establishments, including employee relations, menu item production and collaboration with BOH/kitchen team to create and update menu offerings based on customer preferences and market trends; customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting, food preparation and quality, and financial accountability
* Cultivate leadership through modeling, strategic communication and mentorship
* Ensure highest level of customer service is executed across locations
* Help lead in training, development, and communication with all team members to ensure they properly understand and meet job expectations
* Enforce Company policies with management team/direct reports and team members through written and oral communication in a timely and effective manner-
* Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including staff management, customer service, and food quality.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
* Assist with training and mentoring staff members to provide exceptional service and maintain high standards.
* Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
* Monitor and analyze sales, revenue, and expenses to identify areas for improvement.
*Requirements:*
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience.
- Knowledge of food service regulations and best practices in food safety.
- Familiarity with inventory control procedures to minimize waste and optimize cost-efficiency.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions while maintaining composure.
- Strong communication AND written skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and vendors.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
* 3+ years in an operational, Restaurant General Manager role within the hospitality industry
* Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, inventory control, and employee scheduling
* Ability to plan, prioritize and delegate workload in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Sound judgment and superior decision-making skills
* Ability to work a flexible work schedule to meet business demands, including weekends nights and holidays
* Experience overseeing a union workforce preferred
