Salary: $166,000 - $230,000
Position Summary:
The Director of Quality Outcomes & Management is responsible for directing the Quality, and the Infection Prevention (IP) programs, oversees the analyses of all hospital data that are internally and externally reported, and ensures the integrity of analytic results.
The Director plans, organizes and implements programs, assigns, monitors and evaluates staff performance, and assures compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
This person also provides statistical and methodological support for development and refinement of data collection, as well as collaborates with other department projects in the area of health care quality and patient safety.
In addition to performing the essential functions listed below, may also be assigned other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current California RN license.
Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Nursing, or Public Administration or three years related experience.
Doctorate degree preferred.
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification preferred.
Lean certified preferred.
Certified in Infection Prevention (CIC) preferred.
Minimum five years (5) experience designing, developing, implementing, managing healthcare Quality Management programs.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in healthcare quality improvement.
Expertise in data management, presentation, and analyses.
Must be computer literate; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint or equivalent.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing required
