What does the job entail?
Supervise a team of 1-2 Accounts Payable Specialists.
Serve as the System Administrator for the Accounts Payable system (Coupa) and process.
Reconcile Accounts Payable to the general ledger.
Responsible for monthly analyses and journal entries for various accruals accounts.
Work with vendors to resolve disputed invoices and amounts while ensuring excellent vendor relationships.
Develop and update AP procedures and training programs to improve processes.
Ensure all AP files are organized and maintained.
Oversee the payment process to ensure all payments have proper documentation and authorizations.
Work with other departments on process improvements.
Respond to internal and external inquiries.
Ensure that year-end processes (e.
g.
1099s, audits) are completed timely and accurately.

We are looking for a dynamic Accounts Payable Supervisor who will be key in the setup and development of our accounting processes across the company.
This is a critical role for the company as we continue to grow the company and scale the offering of our products and services.
You will build best-in-class processes and systems from the ground up and deliver high quality financial reports.

More practical skills needed:
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a fast paced, high-volume, 3-way match environment.
Experience with Coupa a strong plus.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
