Operation Manager

We're looking for a Manager to become a part of our team.
We're looking for an individual with a strong ability to communicate effectively.
The manager's job is to make sure that each critical delivery is not only on time, but also makes sure the customer is informed of the progress of each delivery.
The volume of deliveries may fluctuate significantly so the manager must be able to work with changing conditions and learn how to use his/her resources efficiently.
*Dispatcher Responsibilities:* * Assist with the dispatch.
* Monitoring Drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and proper driving practices * Ensures full compliance with company standards and policies as well as local, state and federal laws and regulations.
* Handling confidential information with complete discretion.
* Scheduling regular maintenance on all vehicles * Providing reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance and fleet progress * Developing methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency.
* When needed, the person should be prepared to step in and execute delivery routes in case of driver absences, ensuring uninterrupted service to customers.
* In the event of a vehicle breakdown or repair needed during a delivery, the manager should promptly respond, assess the situation, and organize vehicle recovery, which may include driving a replacement vehicle to the location if necessary.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
