About the Role This role leads a team of engineers that build and maintain Workday’s North America Payroll integration solutions focusing on performance, scalability and compliance.
These integration solutions ensure fast processing of tax/compliance data for employees/employers and ensure secure transmission to different tax vendors and authorities.
You will facilitate collaboration with other product and platform teams to develop new technology and capability to support new requirements and scalability challenges.

About You In this leadership role you will drive highly technical initiatives and empower your team members to innovate and continuously deliver critical integration capabilities, enhancements and compliance changes.
This team will potentially support initiatives around new tools/technology adoption to develop and support future looking capabilities that gives North America Payroll products a competitive advantage.
An ideal candidate for this role will be a hands-on technical leader.
Basic Qualifications 8+ years of OO software design and development experience 5+ years experience in Agile development Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field Other Qualifications: Capable of being a hands-on software development leader Experience in Workday studio integration development Deep understanding of software development life cycle Excited to support team members career growth and development Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical audiences Ensures a psychologically safe environment for team members Experience in Payroll application development is a plus Excited to innovate and explore modern technologies to build new and exciting features/capabilities Workday Pay Transparency Statement The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
