Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Co-Op candidate to join our Development Operations department located at our Fremont, California facility.
As a Co-Op, you will be under the guidance of the Director of Innovation Management & Data Science and will be actively involved in the execution of technology and data science projects by participating in project teams and various site functions.
This role provides an opportunity to work in synergy with Manufacturing, MSAT, and Development Operations (Cell Culture, Purification, Analytical Science), offering you a comprehensive understanding of the operations at our Boehringer Ingelheim US Biopharma site.
You will play an active role in identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to business decisions.

Requirements
Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academicstanding.
Student must be enrolled at a college or university for the duration of theinternship.
Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.
0 GPA (on a 4.
0 scale)preferred.
Major or minor in related field of internship
Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university.
Graduate and advanced degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university.
Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities:
Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling
Work with ambiguity and learn from implementing new solution
Passion for innovation and staying updated with the latest trends in data science/analytics
Previous experience within the biopharmaceutical industry is a plus
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven solutions to meet business needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver appropriate solutions
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights within datasets
Participate in the evaluation of new data science tools and technologies
Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
