Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shop Supervisor to join our team.
As a Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our shop and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
This is a leadership role that requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Duties
- Manage the overall operations of the shop, including inventory management, scheduling, and customer service
- Organize, direct, and coordinate shop mechanic, onsite mechanic and shop drivers schedules
- Develop and maintain schedules for all vehicle repairs, including repairs that are completed outside of the shop (Ford, Pape, Boom truck, Underdog)
- Ensure all equipment records are kept accordingly; mileage, services, and repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
- Maintain inventory for indirect material, Bollard inventory
- Ensure that all customer orders are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner
- Manage purchases for new assets as well as prepare material for Auctions
- Prepare work orders, daily logs/reports, approve invoices, and any other reports as necessary
- Administer employee time cards and ensure accuracy
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms

Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management position within a retail or similar environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Must have valid drivers’ license
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
