Summary
We're ready to add another Community Association Manager to our growing team.
In this position you will manage a diverse portfolio of homeowner associations in the South Bay.
We want to proactively add another rock star to our team and put together a portfolio of communities for them that matches their skills and experience.
The ideal candidate is an honest, dependable, self-starter with strong ethics and pride in the quality of their work.
We're looking for excellent interpersonal/communication skills and CACM/CAI certifications are a plus.
Salary depends on experience, qualifications, size and complexity of portfolio assigned.
Attending some evening HOA board meetings will be required.

Duties
The successful candidate will provide day-to-day management services for a portfolio of homeowner associations to include:
A full-time manager will be expected to attend an average of four to five evening board meetings per month
Interface with the Board of Directors between board meetings
Create budgets by using Excel worksheets and our software
Provide leadership and consultation to the Boards of Directors
Share best practices with regard to the management and oversight of their community
Provide customer service to owners in the communities they manage, with support from our admin team
Coordinate and manage routine vendor relationships, contractors, etc.
Some project administration - coordinating work with residents and vendors/contractors when necessary
Write professional emails, formal business letters as necessary to homeowners and vendors
Draft newsletters for the community to engage the homeowners and keep them informed
Requirements
Ability to attend 4 to 5 evening HOA board meetings each month as a full-time manager
Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and meet deadlines without supervision
Excellent verbal communication skills, ability to speak in public with confidence
Strong PC skills, be proficient with MS Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to draft professional correspondence with proper format and grammar
Ability to interpret basic financial statements, (balance sheet and income/expense statement)
Ability to manage a portfolio of diverse community associations, including SFR's, mid-rise condos and attached PUD's
Community Association Manager experience and certification required
