This is a summer internship Project Manager position in the IT PMO organization.
The successful candidate will join the team of experienced PMs and get hands-on experience in running IT Projects in the corporate IT organization at Snowflake.
This includes effectively managing scope, timeline, resources, risks and success metrics of projects managed by the IT PMO.
The intern will have a mentor and take guidance from senior IT Program Managers in the IT PMO and assist with larger project activities.

WHAT WE EXPECT:
Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program during the time of the internshipDesired Class Level: Pursuing a Bachelor’s/ MS in MIS, Business, Computer Science or related Fields
Previous internship experience is a plus
Very good organizational, facilitation and presentation skills.
Strong communication, facilitation and influence skills.

Able to build collaborative relationships across project teams

Well versed in documentation tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.

Willingness to train with experienced PMs in PMO methodologies.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN/GAIN:
Take a project or multiple projects as part of the internship - from start to finish (a full project lifecycle)
Develop and maintain project charter, project plan, risk register, budget and other deliverables to enable successful project completion.
Monitor and drive the tasks and deliverables completion per the project timeline with guidance from experienced project managers
Effectively communicate project status, dependencies and risks to project team, stakeholders and the PMO
Participate in internship activities organized by Snowflake

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
