*PAY RANGE: *$100,000- $140,000
*General Responsibility:*
Heavy Civil Contractor seeking Project Manager with a specific focus on pipeline, water treatment plants, and pump stations.
*Significant Duties:* · Manage the overall planning, coordination, and execution of heavy civil construction projects, including pipeline installations, water treatment plant construction, and pump station projects.
· Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project stakeholders.
· Lead and supervise project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
· Monitor project progress, identify and address any issues or risks, and implement corrective measures to ensure timely and successful project completion.
· Coordinate and communicate with clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with project requirements and obtain necessary approvals.
· Review and evaluate project designs, specifications, and contracts, providing technical expertise and recommending improvements or modifications as needed.
· Prepare and present regular project status reports to management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, progress, and potential challenges.
· Manage project resources, including equipment, materials, and labor, to optimize productivity and cost-efficiency.
· Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction activities, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and address any on-site issues promptly.
· Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, promoting collaboration, resolving conflicts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
*Requirements/Qualifications:* · Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant amount of experience.
· In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, regulations, and best practices in heavy civil projects.
· Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
· Solid understanding of project management principles, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
· Proficient in project management software and tools.
· Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
· Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
