Oracle Cloud Security Lead

” Baer is looking for Oracle Cloud Security Lead for a 6+ month Federal Remote Project.
Title: Oracle Cloud Security Lead Location: Remote (Must be based in US) Duration: 6+ months Rate: Client Approved Travel Expenses Reimbursed if Required Alignment: W2 or C2C (Vendors Not Permitted) Description: Develop and implement a comprehensive Oracle Apps security strategy aligned with the organization's overall security objectives.
Create and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures for Oracle Applications.
Design and implement user access controls, roles, and responsibilities for Oracle Applications to ensure the principle of least privilege.
Manage user provisioning and de-provisioning processes, ensuring timely and accurate access assignments.
Conduct regular risk assessments related to Oracle Apps security and take appropriate measures to mitigate identified risks.
Stay updated on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities related to Oracle Applications and proactively address potential issues.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards, such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and GDPR.
Collaborate with audit teams to facilitate security audits and address audit findings.
Develop and maintain an incident response plan for Oracle Apps security incidents.
Lead investigations into security incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Requirements: Proven experience in Oracle Applications security, with a focus on Oracle E-Business Suite and related technologies.
In-depth knowledge of Oracle security features, role-based access controls, and security best practices.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Relevant certifications, such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), are a plus.
Public Trust Security Clearance is the lowest level of additional background screening that the federal government requires for applicants of certain jobs, which includes completing a Standard Form 85 (SF85) form.
