What you’ll do: The primary function of a Team Lead, Project Management Organization in the West Region, is to manage the project team in addition to products and product applications while growing sales support in the assigned market; drive the project management process to ensure accurate, complete and timely data; and drive financial improvement and customer satisfaction on projects through continous improvement of Project Management processes by field based Project Managers.
Primary functions include: • Responsibility for the Commercial Construction and Industrial market segments as determined by Regional Manager • Hire, develop, provide oversite and direction for field Project Managers • Communicate the vision of Project Management within Eaton to ensure that the direction of the organization is clearly understood • Develop effective relationships with critical customers identified by Sales and Project Managers to drive growth and build value for Eaton • Collaborate with Regional Manager to contribute creative ideas, timely reports and updates, and a positive approach to the challenges presented • Build relationships with product lines and services to ensure effective execution of projects Essential job functions include but are not limited to: • Drive technical product compliance, pricing negotiation and configuration changes, and faster approval and release process (20%) • Drive productivity growth within the group utilizing EBE principles and electronic tools to support efficient and profitable business growth (15%) • Attract, hire, develop, and retain top quality Project Managers who excel at providing customer value through the execution of processes, technical and commercial savvy, and effective relationship building with customers (15%) • Collaboration with Regional Project Engineering Manager to ensure synergy between Project Managers and Project Engineers (10%) • Critical customer interface and relationship building while managing financials including Z accounts and customer claims (10%) • Ensure integrity and competency of systems to comply with corporate, division, and organization policies, guidelines, and procedures (10%) • Support Regional Manager in formulating a strategic plan (10%) • Lead regional PMO and sales trainings inclusive of maintenance, development, and implementation of best practices and processes for employees in these markets (10%) #LI-BG2 Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical industry project management and/or field sales Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license Technical knowledge • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of electrical industry, power distribution products, services, markets, channels, and competitors.
• Knowledge of Sales and Project Management Knowledge • Understanding of project scope changes and pricing negotiation Soft skills • Communication skills: Ability to communicate with customers and internal personnel at different management and professional levels.
• Leadership: Ability to inspire, motivate, and guide team members towards a common goal.
• Networking: Ability to build relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and drive customer satisfaction.
• Decision-Making: Ability to make important informed decisions with good judgement.
• Emotional Intelligence: Ability to navigate conflicts, provide support with empathy, and maintain a positive team atmosphere.
" The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and sales incentive.
This position has a total compensation range of $130,125.
