Job Description: Travel *Hybrid position *Frequent travel to physician and regional offices in Northern California; may require travel to Epic headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin Overview: Under the leadership of the Applications Manager, the Application Analysts primary role is to have a complete working knowledge of assigned application, to include an understanding of the assigned department workflows for the associated system build/configure, upgrade and release process.
The Application Analyst will act as the primary support contact for the application and coordinate issues that arise in their area of responsibility and must be very knowledgeable about the organization's policies, procedures, and business operations.

Specialization Under the leadership of the Manager of Managed Care Applications, the Medical Management Supervisor plays a crucial leadership role in overseeing the support of utilization management through the Epic Systems Tapestry application.
You will lead and manage a team of Medical Management Applications Analysts ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely issues resolution of utilization management processes.
Acting as the primary point of contact for users of the Tapestry application in relation to utilization management, the Medical Management Supervisor will: Manage team in the building and implementation of effective Epic Tapestry utilization management solutions by utilizing best practices by ensuring data quality, data completeness, data accuracy, and deliverable timeliness.
Lead team members in work efforts by leveraging understanding of work queues, workflows, member coverages, provider/POS, reports and dashboards, including authorization policies and procedures that affect the automatic approval or denial of authorizations.
Collaborate with and lead internal teams to understand, address and support the organization's support business operations utilization management needs, implementing system updates and enhancements.
Responsible for building strong relationships with business units and system vendors to support operational business needs.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to authorizations.
Provide expert-level technical support, troubleshoot application-related issues, and resolution of complex problems.
Works closely with Managed Care Manager on planning and executing strategic objectives and project initiatives.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations and lead teams in the implementation of workflow optimizations to enhance efficiency and user satisfaction, creating and maintaining user-friendly documentation, guides, and best practices for application usage.
