A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A REGIONAL PROPERTY MANAGER As a Regional Property Manager, you oversee day-to-day operations, manage revenue, and facilitate community and resident relations for four manufactured housing communities.

You definitely have your share of paperwork to complete, but you enjoy the frequent interruptions and opportunities to interact with a variety of people.
With attention to detail, you ensure all budgeting guidelines are followed and prepare weekly and monthly reports including petty cash variance, leasing, renewal, financial, market, and payroll reports.
You maintain expert knowledge of the property, community, and competitors, evaluating financial performance and seasonal trends in order to identify and implement solutions.
You market the properties in order to fill vacancies quickly and maximize retention rates, ensuring that everything is handled according to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Using your fantastic leadership skills, you build, inspire, and direct a team that works together toward goals.
You also get to physically walk and inspect each community on a regular basis to address issues and ensure that everything is up to our high standards.
Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills come into play as you interact with residents and collaborate with other staff and regional managers.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A REGIONAL PROPERTY MANAGER 3 years of experience in residential property management involving multi-family housing facilities Basic math skills and understanding of accounting principles Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently Leadership experience that included establishing goals and expectations while managing performance and providing guidance Must successfully complete regulatory and job training requirements Two years of supervisory experience in the industry is preferred.
