Knowledgeable and effective leader wanted to help lead our NorCal Imaging team in Oakland, California as a radiology center supervisor.
In this management career opportunity you will oversee our multi-modality outpatient imaging practice, which provides a full range of medical diagnostic imaging exams to the community.
The center is connected to our other locations thru PACS and RIS, and provides patient care Monday - Saturday.
As a healthcare practice supervisor you'll:
Under the direction and guidance of management, supervise center activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations for patient flow, patient care, and quality assurance.
Oversee a staff of approximately 10-15 employees and assist in the management of staff activities including, coordinating schedules and breaks, providing training and guidance, reviewing and approving bi-weekly timecards, conducting performance evaluations, etc.
Assist in the implementation and administering of procedures and best practices to streamline processes for center operations.
Provide ongoing training to staff to ensure that productivity and knowledge of the overall process are maintained and improved.
Utilize staff to their fullest potential by motivating and challenging them to achieve results while offering developmental and educational opportunities to progress within the company.
Under the direction and guidance of the Center Manager, interview and hire candidates for open staff positions.
Attend and participate in operations/manager meetings.
Oversee the use and maintenance of the equipment and facilities.
Help oversee attending physicians.
Participate in and/or lead various projects as identified by management to support operations and quality patient care.
We're looking for dynamic leaders with recent radiology/medical office supervisory or lead experience (will also consider candidates from LDORP), excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for patient care.
Candidates will also need to have an attention to detail, working knowledge of California State labor laws, proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office), and a passion for patient care.
