Position Overview: The primary responsibility of this position is to support, develop, and supervise telehealth programs by providing administrative and operational leadership.
The Telehealth Program Supervisor will establish ownership over the creation and refinement of formal processes, policies, workflows, training, etc.
for the Buprenorphine Virtual Clinic and Interdisciplinary Medication Assistance Program.
They will also oversee and perform, when necessary, day-to-day activities of the telehealth programs and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications.
They will be responsible for staff performance management as well as the hiring process with support from BHC’s Human Resources department.
Excellent written and verbal communication is essential as this position entails regular and on-going communication and status reporting to BHC management regarding the needs and performance of the Telehealth Programs.
Key Responsibilities: Handle new and existing patient intake procedures, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Manage billing processes and provide patient support, including coding for insurance purposes.
Oversee staff development initiatives and manage inventory purchases.
Process time-off requests and approvals.
Provide overall leadership for the Programs, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
Provide administrative and operational support to all providers as needed.
Develop, support, and supervise day-to-day program operations.
Create and refine operational processes, policies, and workflows for new and existing programs.
Organize and participate in meetings with Telehealth Program project teams.
Develop and report on program performance metrics.
Collaborate with the Project Manager to create, maintain, and report on existing and new projects.
Answer phones and handle calls according to protocol.
Monitor and ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
Lead weekly meetings with team members to keep them informed of program needs, policies, procedures, and general updates.
Maintain staffing levels necessary for efficient delivery of clinical services and operational support.
Coordinate performance management, timecard management, discipline, hiring, and other staffing needs with the Human Resources Department.
Coordinate and monitor providers' schedules.
Coordinate patient access to program links.
Process patient no-shows and cancellations according to protocol.
Process incoming faxes.
Maintain a safe and risk-free environment by ensuring that all safety and risk management policies and procedures are reviewed and adhered to on a regular schedule.
Qualifications: EDUCATION: Must be a licensed provider in the state of California.
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Bachelor of Arts or Science).
Requirements: Ability to type 45+ words per minute.
Proficient in Windows XP, Microsoft Office, and Electronic Medical Record systems.
Ability to multitask and follow directives.
Demonstrates excellent customer service and can de-escalate difficult situations.
Efficient time management skills.
Experience working in a medical setting.
Previous management/supervisory experience is preferred.

Compensation Range: $100,000.
00 to $120,000.
00 Annual All compensation ranges are posted based on internal equity, job requirements, experience, and geographical locations.
