Licensed Vocational Nurse positions - Full Time (must be able to work 4 days on and 2 days off):
Available Shift:
AM Shift 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
NOC Shift 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Range of pay is $35.
00 - $43.
00/hr dependent on experience
Must be able to work one weekend a month and provide 5 shifts a month availability if working on-call.
Starting pay is $35.
00/hr for new nurses or those with under 1 year of experience.
Pay Scale between $35.
00 to start up to $43.
00/hr for those with 10 or more years of experience.
Active CNA, IV, DSD, IP and Wound Care Certifications increase starting pay!

We are a 24/7 facility therefore one must be able to work weekends and holidays as required.
Must also be available to attend two days of orientation as well as minimum of three days of training.
All applicants are required to complete and pass a drug screening, physical exam with tuberculosis (TB) skin test, and criminal clearance through FBI and Department of Justice.
The background search includes minor misdemeanors and DUIs.

Essential Duties:
Identify resident needs based upon an initial written and continuing assessment of the resident's needs.
Supervise direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her shift which includes CNA/LVN staff.
Develop an individual, written care plan which indicates the care to be given.
Administer medications by means of oral, external, injections, and installation methods and follow established policy & procedures for medication administration.
Administer treatments, including but not limited to; dressings, catheterization, suctioning, oxygen, skin assessments, etc.
with Charge Nurse to consult as necessary.

Qualifications:
Currently licensed in the State of California as a LVN, current CPR certificate, geriatric/rehabilitative experience with a good understanding of restorative nursing.
Ability to read, write and speak English, using proper speech and grammar.
Ability to work under pressure and handle conflict with ease.
