We are looking for an experienced Optometry Technician who will join us as an integral member of our team to bring the best vision care and improve the quality of patient lives.
You will be part of a winning team of experienced Optometrists and use state-of-the art technology to provide excellent care for a diverse patient base.
We are experienced professionals who have served our patient community for over 25 years.
By joining one of Bay Area’s leading optometric practices who specialize in myopia control and treat ocular diseases, you’ll be part of the team to help improve and preserve patients’ eye health and vision throughout their lives.
In addition, the practice offers three Bay Area locations (Fremont, Oakland, Pleasanton), custom full service labs, high-quality eyewear brands, and advanced eyecare technology.

*Responsibilities*
● Prepare examination and pre-test rooms by patients prior to exam with the doctor
● Perform tests and imaging for patients (such as auto-refractor, topography, OCT, fundus photos, visual field, widefield retinal imaging)
● Assist patients with frames and lens selection, including fee presentation of contact lenses and glasses
● Adjusting frames and minor repairs
● Dispensing contact lenses and glasses
● Scheduling appointments, verifying insurance benefits and other adminstrative duties
*Education and Experience Requirements*
● Exceptional and professional customer service skills who can build good rapport and provide a positive experience with our patients
● An excellent communicator with the ability to interact effectively with our patients and and doctor, with a cheerful attitude and a great work ethic
● A dedicated team player who can multitask and work in a fast paced environment
● Attention to detail with basic math skills, familiarity with common office applications, and being organized and precise with your work
● knowledge of vision plans and medical insurances
● Desire to continuously develop your skills and grow your career with our practice
● High school diploma or GED.
AA degrees or above preferred
● 1+ years experience or training in optometry, optical, and/or other medical practices
(Preferred)
● Conversational in Cantonese or Mandarin (Preferred but not mandatory)
