For sale is a 2001 Suzuki VL1500LC Intruder.
This has been a wonderful motorcycle for the almost 20 years I have owned it.
Since I have another motorcycle I have been riding, I let this one sit for a bit too long.
I went to start it up a couple of weeks ago to start riding it again now since the weather is changing.
It was running what sounded like running on 1 cylinder.
I believed the carbs needed a good cleaning, so I attempted to do this myself.
I started to take the necessary parts off the bike to get to the carbs.
After thinking about doing this, I feel it's not something I have the skill for.
So, I have decided to sell it cheap to let some other person get it cleaned and running again.
This is NOT running at the moment.
I think it should be an easy fix, but selling AS IS, WHERE IS.
This bike will come with HUNDREDS of dollars worth of extra parts, including 3 sets of pipes, extra tank covers (looks like gas tanks), fenders, windshield, side covers, seats, full repair manual, etc.
It now has Vance/Hines
loud pipes.
In the pictures, you will see other pipes that have at one time been on the bike.
The windshield in the picture is not on it anymore, but I do have a stock windshield that will come with it.
The bike has about 22k miles, very good tread on tires, CUSTOM HARD SADDLE BAGS.
