E-Commerce Specialist

We are looking for a capable e-commerce salesperson who will be responsible for photographing and selling select merchandise via our online store.
Prior experience selling online is extremely helpful to achieve success in this role.
Duties & Responsibilities * Managing product listings and improving online sales across retailers' online stores: eBay and others.
* Using our ERP system and third-party software, log items and prepare item descriptions for listing online, take product photographs as required * With guidance from the supervisor, prioritize items and business needs for the day and week * Market products online, using well-established selling procedures and techniques * Respond to customers’ inquiries regarding products, and shipment, ensuring that the right type and amount of information is forwarded * Provide customers with information on shipment amounts, in addition to the cost of products * Look through online and physical inventory to determine the availability of products * Respond to customers’ complaints regarding service and product quality, aiming to attempt their issues * Oversee the inventory to ensure product availability and assess stock situations * Create and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure that products are delivered timely * Handle returns and exchanges in sync with the guidelines provided by the company * Assist in packaging and proper handling of sold goods Requirements: * Must have a good understanding of the ecommerce concepts, ecommerce tools and how to properly utilize them * Strong written and verbal communication * Previous selling experience selling online is an asset * Basic knowledge of IT equipment preferred This is a full-time position in Hayward, CA on-site only!
