The Sales and Catering Coordinator collaborates with the sales, catering, and Banquet teams to achieve established revenue goals and service metrics.
Measures of Performance Competency * Driving Sales * Collaborates and assist managers of each department by preparing accurate, creative customer correspondence and contracts * May be called upon to complete interest research requested to secure new business * Listens and reads customer; identifies needs and responds accordingly * Own and manage lead log and lead statistics to be used for strategic outbound sales * Aware of established goals for each department and the role play in the sales process to achieve or exceed those goals.
Use of Tools & Processes * Knowledge of and ability to assist managers with existing sales tools such as Delphi FDC, BID Clerk, Meeting Broker, and Cvent.
* Maintains complete and accurate records of all customer interaction and correspondence in the sales system * Accurately produces and reviews all sales contracts, rate agreements, and banquet/catering event orders * Looks for ways to improve processes and enhance sales systems * Applies in-depth knowledge of Windsor Hospitality tools to find opportunities to increase profitability * Duties assigned by DOS specific to respective hotel Building a Service Culture * Develops strong customer relationships through professional, courteous, and ethical interpersonal interaction * Ensures proper communication with other hotel departments * Awareness of hotels service scores and areas in need of improvement Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not have any supervisory responsibility.
