About the Team Business Technology (BT) in Workday continues its mission to deliver unparalleled value to our business partners and customers.
The Program and Business Operations team works with partners within BT and outside to define, align on, and implement the strategic programs and operations.
The team is also responsible for standardizing program methodologies, tools and operations/metrics across the BT organization to provide a unified experience to business partners and customers.
About the Role You’re an experienced Change Communications professional who has passion for the human struggle of change, the capability to rally employees around a shared vision, and an eagerness to learn and grow.
You’ll be an enthusiastic liaison between our BT Communications and BT Program Management teams — leading change enablement communications that ensure employees have the information they need and inspiration to adopt change swiftly and seamlessly.
As a trusted and collaborative leader, you’ll partner with team members across the company to establish training, communications plans, and other documentation.
An excitement for rolling out new technology in a global organization and understanding change management principles is critical to being successful in this role.
Responsibilities In this role, you’re responsible for supporting and contributing to the development of BT solutions and deliverables.
Cross-functional partners will benefit from your expertise in internal communications, change management, employee engagement, and business transformation.
Other responsibilities include the following: Create and implement a comprehensive change communication strategy — including quality writing and peer review — that educates audiences about BT change enablement initiatives, including how each communications tactic will be reviewed/approved, delivered, and measured.
Work closely with the Program Operations team to apply an organizational change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes resulting from a new system implementation and business process.
Create and review emails, presentations, articles, newsletters, FAQs, templates, and any other communications in partnership with core team members.
You will act with urgency and organization to meet or exceed requirements and timeframes.
You will contribute to in-person and virtual collaboration sessions.
Apply a structured methodology and lead change communications management activities, working with respective project leaders for implementation and oversight.
About You Basic Qualifications: 8+ years experience in Change Management/Enablement communication within the Tech industry.
8+ years of experience with collaboration tools (G Suite, Zoom, Slack, and Smartsheet) Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, change management, or related work experience Other Qualifications: Critical thinker: Thinks things through carefully and critically before defining issues.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
