Are you passionate about social media and ready to make a significant impact? ExtraMile is seeking a creative and self-motivated Social Media Specialist to be a driving force behind our brand's social presence.
In this exciting role, you'll collaborate closely with our Marketing Specialist, contributing to the growth and development of our brand on social media platforms.
What you’ll do as a Social Media Specialist:
Content Creation/ Strategy
• Coordinate daily social media posts, ensuring alignment with best practices and brand guidelines on Instagram and Facebook.
• Develop engaging lifestyle and animated content for both organic posts and paid social ads.
• Keep abreast of social media trends, curating content that resonates with our target audience.
• Facilitate content approval across departments, ensuring seamless collaboration.
• Maintain a dynamic social media calendar for Instagram and Facebook.
• Partner with the Marketing Specialist to craft a compelling social media content strategy, fostering follower growth and brand awareness.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support social strategies.
• Organize social media giveaways, working with legal partners to establish protocols.
• Evaluate new platforms for potential entry, developing strategic approaches in conjunction with the Marketing Specialist
• Perform other duties as required.
Community Management / Reporting
• Engage with our online community, responding to social comments in our brand voice.
• Establish best practices for social media community engagement.
• Produce monthly reports on social media performance, analyzing posts and paid advertisements.
• Conduct social media competitive analyses and audits to refine our strategies.

You’ll be a great fit if you have:
• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience managing social media accounts for brands.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and analytic tools.
• Strong collaborative skills coupled with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in photo and video editing apps/software for compelling content creation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with outstanding copywriting and proofreading abilities.
• A keen eye for aesthetic curation and cohesive storytelling.
• Graphic design experience is a plus.
• Previous experience in Convenience Stores or CPG food industry brands is advantageous.
