SourceAmerica is searching for a Business Development Representative to join its team, responsible and accountable for the successful identification of new business opportunities, including development and implementation of business strategies and plans; market research and analysis; business and technical proposal writing; and corporate database management.
This position helps connect our network of over 400 Non-Profit agencies with federal procurement opportunities across the United States! Our network of Non-Profit Agencies (NPAs) performs service and product contracts mainly for Federal agencies and help employ over 30,000+ people with disabilities nationally.
The ideal candidate will be based near SourceAmerica’s Pacific West Office in San Ramon, CA, (Pacific West or a coastal state near a major airport).
What You Will Do .

As a Business Development Representative, your work functions will include but are not limited to the following.
A full position description will be given to candidates at the time of the interview.
Identify potential business opportunities and new lines of business through frequent, substantive contacts with government acquisition officials and program office/end-user representatives.
Increase jobs for people with significant disabilities by adding new federal service requirements to the PL and by expanding market penetration of existing business lines.
Manage actions involved with capture management process, PL addition and life cycle management, including compliance with the statutory, regulatory and administrative processes of the AbilityOne Program.
Enable transition of feasible business opportunities to account managers; provide support and assistance for development, PL addition and life-cycle performance.
Perform strategic and tactical research and analysis for existing and potential services lines of business.
Other responsibilities will be assigned as organizational needs arise.
Salary Range
The salary for this position falls in a range between $66,022 - $98,496 depending on your experience and geographic location in the United States.
What We’re Looking For .

Associate degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution instead of applicable skills training.
SourceAmerica recognizes 1.
5 years of experience = 1 year of college, should the candidate not meet the educational requirement.
5 years of relevant work experience.
Working knowledge of Federal acquisition policies and regulations.

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution.
7+ years of relevant work experience.
Department of Defense or Federal contracting experience.
We use Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) as our primary business application system for much of our office processes— experience with D365 or using similar methods is preferred.
Work Environment
Our organization offers both a hybrid work model—where employees work in our office two to three days per week and work from home the balance of the workweek—as well as a fully remote work model, depending on the job requirements and one’s proximity to one of our offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, or the Washington, DC-area.
