Position Overview
This is a temporary position.
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide-range of maintenance duties in various locations of the bank.
He/She will visit assigned branches and perform branch inspections to ensure each facility is being maintained, and all health and safety guidelines are met.
Responsible for the over-site of vendors when they are on-site and inspecting their completed work to ensure compliance with all bank standards, and adheres to the bank's customer service standards at all times.
Helps to oversee the janitorial work at all buildings in his/her assigned area.
Maintain their assigned Fremont Bank Vehicle at all times (i.
e.
, Cleanliness, Maintenance and Repairs, etc.
) and ensure that the Vehicle always has a current Insurance Card, Gas Card and Driver's Handbook at all times.
Role and Responsibilities
General maintenance (paint, plumbing, furniture reconfigurations, relocations, general repairs)
Off-site Branch inspections and maintenance
Work order maintenance on Grapevine, daily input on work order status
Customer Service: follow up with customers and contractors on status of work
Provide support for other related department teams (Logistic Services and Procurement)
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
5 years of experience of miscellaneous jobs that apply to this position
Previous Facilities Maintenance experience required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record
Basic Construction skills
Basic Plumbing skills
Basic Electrical skills
Basic HVAC skills
Able to lift up to 75 to 100 lbs
Strong customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
Ability to work early mornings, evenings and weekends as needed to oversee off-hour contractor work
Experience working within a Windows based computer environment and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Self-motivation and an ability to follow through on commitments
Basic Computer Hardware installation skills
Workspace installation experience preferred
Able to create and maintain inventory lists
