About the Team
The Sales Team is currently seeking an Estimating Coordinator to work at one of our manufacturing locations.
The Sales Team is responsible for estimating and coordinating large and complex projects within the organization.
About the Role
As an Estimating Coordinator, you’ll work with the Estimating Manager to support the Sales and Estimating teams, in reviewing and quantifying landscape construction plans.
You’ll use Salesforce and other electronic tools to identify and quantify construction plans.
You’ll be generating quotes on range of projects and products, including planters, site furnishings and fountains.
You’ll be based in one of our manufacturing locations (Union City, CA, Port Orchard, WA, or Fontana, CA) and will be required to travel occasionally to other facilities.
You will have a direct hand in accomplishing our #1 goal – a successful project in every way.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support the Sales Team by doing take-offs, working from construction plans and specifications for projects
Prepare routine estimates as needed
Use estimating software to aid in estimations
Communicate data to Sales and Estimating teams in a timely manner via multiple channels
Assist Sales and Estimating teams in qualifying projects
Ability to learn production techniques and capabilities, in concrete, fiberglass, metal and wood
Use Salesforce CRM to route appropriate work to the team
Necessary Skills
1+ years’ experience in estimating and/or managing projects
Knowledge of the landscape or green build industry is preferred
Familiarity with the construction industry, plans and specifications, including doing take-offs
Computer literate, specifically in electronic take-off tools, MS Office and Salesforce (CAD would be a bonus)
Self-directed, decision maker, with excellent interpersonal skills
Organized, unflappable and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Physical Demands
Sedentary work.
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Repetitive motion.
Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.
S.
geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets.
The pay range for this position is $40,000 - $65,000 annually.
Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on tenure, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
