You will work in a small, dedicated group of software- and test engineers to implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines that allow for faster and more frequent releases of software.
For systems, you will be responsible for providing internet, voice, and television connectivity to the maritime and tracker community in the satellite communications industry.
*Other tasks – but not limited to, are:*
* Architect, develop, maintain, and document the process to implement a CI/CD practice enforcing automation in build, testing, and deployment.
* Utilize your strong background in managing and patching OS, as well as application roll-outs on multiple network devices to support the further development of our software, and operating system updates and have a good understanding of network security.
* Engage in challenging software work on products as the product line allows for many different customer variations and combinations.
Furthermore, you will lead the optimization investigation to uncover the re-usability and flexibility opportunities of our software packages.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve integration processes and systems, to continuously drive the OS patching process forward.
*As our Senior Integration Engineer your qualifications should ideally be:*
* *Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.
Master’s degree preferred.

* *Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in DevOps and integration.

* Demonstrated experience with scripting, web design, and coding e.

, programming languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
* In-depth expertise in RedHat/Ubuntu Linux installation, implementation, configuration, testing (functional and security e.
g.
, using Ansible), operations, maintenance, and system patching.
* Understanding of network design and topologies, as well as awareness of system and network security principles such as system hardening.
* Tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps pipeline, Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket, etc.
* Familiarity with implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
