Job Summary:
* Experienced Lead Material Operator will grind and deburr metal parts for custom builds.
* Ability to use hand tools
* Requires removal of burrs & rough edges from a variety of sheet metal parts.
* Ability to operate power tools
* Read blueprints/drawings to determine specifications and dimensions.
* Ability to read Bills of materials for builds
* Requires repetitive use of hands sanding and polishing, grinding, and finishing
* Clean and maintain equipment and tools (replacing abrasive pads as needed)
* Promote a positive team environment by following all company and safety policies.
* At all times project a favorable image of the organization.
* Ability to stand continuously up to 8 hours per day
* Follow the organization’s grooming and dress standards.
* Keep the Department Lead promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
* Perform all duties and responsibilities asked of you in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
* Perform any other job duties as requested by the Department Lead or Management.
* Loads and unloads materials into or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
* Lifts heavy objects by hand or with appropriate lifting support
* Keep work areas and spaces clean.
* Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
· Able to remain professional and courteous always.
· Ability to adapt and work in a very fast paced environment
Education and Experience:
· Minimum 1-2 years experience as LEAD APPLICATION Operator
· Sheet metal manufacturing experience a plus

Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to lift to up to 50 pounds.
_*Pay and Compensation:*_
Base Compensation: based on experience, $18/hr - $23/hr
