Associate Manager, Parts Quality

What to Expect The Quality Associate Manager will manage a team of Quality Supervisors as they carry out a quality sorting and reworking operations in a high-speed environment.
The Associate Manager will lead their team in improving and executing operations to ensure that Tesla standards are being met.
Associate Managers must be able to set and execute monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets for the operations.
The purpose of the Quality Associate Manager is to develop their team into highly skilled and knowledgeable quality leaders, providing the support and resources required to be successful in their operations and future career path.
The Associate Manager will be required to lead cross-functional meetings with leadership stakeholders to meet operational goals and continuous improvement efforts that match the rapid growth of Tesla.
What You’ll Do Develop and maintain standardized work Instructions used in Quality by the Quality Inspectors Support the development of Process Failure to identify critical risks in the production processes with the Manufacturing Process Engineers Collaborate with cross-functional leaders across the factory on process failures, support with corrective actions and accountability Develop training programs and hiring plans for Quality Inspectors Support of control plans to assure critical features are controlled through the Quality process Manage Supervisors, Leads and Quality Inspectors and develop the team structures used in the Tesla Factory Ensure quality standards are being met throughout the entire quality process and support no defects from What You’ll Bring Manufacturing managing experience Work efficiently and productively in independent and team settings Experience and thorough knowledge of production systems and processes Ability to work with and develop production performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, costs) Communicate clearly using excellent written and verbal skills Strong analytic problem-solving skills.
Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail
