*Security Field Engineer (Access Control / Alarm Project Lead) - Livermore, CA*
We are seeking an experienced Alarm/Access Control Installer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the industry and be able to run a deployment.
The candidate must have expertise in Avigilon ACM Programming.
Additional systems would include Open Path and Verkada.
Additional skills in alarm deployment and programing would be beneficial.
At least 3 years of experience in access control installation, programming, migration and maintenance is required.
Occasional travel to customer sites is required -- AMS.
NET covers all travel expenses.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Program and configure control panels, and other system components.
* Troubleshoot issues with existing systems and provide timely resolutions.
* Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and support.
* Work with other team members to complete installation and service projects.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each project.
* Follow company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
* Keep up to date with industry advancements and technology to ensure the most efficient and effective installation and maintenance practices.
*Requirements:*
* At least 3 years of experience in access control installation, programming, migration and maintenance.
* Knowledge of cabling, termination on control panels, and programming.
* Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose issues quickly.
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate technical information to non-technical individuals.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
* Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
* Have passed or be able to pass the Alarm Agent test through the State of California.
